Exercise #921: Your Thoughts
Posted 11/26/21

Today's exercise comes from Sue. Thanks, Sue!

There’s a New Yorker cartoon making the rounds of a man standing in front of a garage packed with everything but a car. He’s saying, “One day, Son, all this will be yours.” Exercise #914 asked about what kind of future life you might have. For this submission, have you any idea of what you must do to prepare for your next life? What will you leave behind for others to deal with?

This idea came from the cartoon and reading Garrison Keillor’s comments in his October 25th post. (https://substack.com/profile/27535338-garrison-keillor)

Critiquers, along with the usual grammar, spelling, etc, review, also consider this question:
     * How well did the submission fit the exercise? Why or why not?

Word limit: 1200
