Exercise #918

Exercise #918: Craft
Posted  11/5/21

With the Round Robin currently in progress, I’ve been thinking a lot about collaboration. Working with another writer (let alone four or more!) is not easy - your writing styles differ, what times of the day are best, even how you do your writing can vary. I did it once, a long, long time ago.

For today’s exercise, share with us what you think about collaborations. Worth it? Fun? Horrible? You wouldn’t ever consider it? Give us the whys for how you feel, and if you like share an anecdote from a time when you collaborated with another author.

Critiquers, along with the usual grammar, spelling, etc, review, consider these questions:
     * Could you relate to this piece? Why or why not?
     * Was this piece helpful to you as a writer? Why or why not?

Word limit: 1200
