Exercise #636: Word Play
Posted 8/28/15

Think of a new word you heard used recently (for me, it would be “pinging” as in “I’m pinging her now.”). Since it’s new to you it might be new to others. For today’s exercise, create dialog scene where one person takes it to mean something else.

Critiquers, you might choose to answer these questions for critiquing the piece:
     * Did you catch any spelling errors or other standard proofreading items? If so, note them for the author.
     * Could you relate to the piece? Why or why not?

Word limit: 1200
