Exercise #48

Exercise #48: Hodge Podge
Posted 3/26/04

I've overheard or read several things this past month, and each one had a line that was said with or seemed to have inherent in it such conviction that it caught my attention. When thought about, sometimes the line made no sense, and sometimes it made absolute sense.

Pick one of these quotes, and either: a) illustrate the saying with your SUB, b) prove or disprove the statement, or c) pick one word from the line as a seed for your SUB and let it take you where it will.

"Be certain to complete all nonfunctional documentation prior to project completion." -- BSC Project Template

"Nobody wants to die in a hospital." -- Kimi Rosen

"If you have a quarter in your pocket, you walk like you have a million. If you have a million, you walk like you have a quarter." -- Toastmasters meeting, author wants to be unknown

"We seldom gravitate toward average mentalities."  -- Andrys

"The speed of time is one second per second."  -- The Cat, 103.3 FM

"If your parents didn't have any children, there is a good chance that you won't have any." -- Clarence Day

"He's a Christian vampire. " -- Christen Sager
