Exercise #470: Craft
Posted  6/1/12

For today’s Craft exercise, share some of your wisdom with us. Pick one aspect of the writing craft and give us a small lesson. Show us why this piece is important, how you make it the best it can be, and where you go for help when it’s not working exactly the right way.

Lost? For instance, if I chose the story idea as my topic, I might tell you:
  * Why nothing else happens without a story idea I like,
   * Where I get my ideas and how I choose between them, and
   * What I do when I have to write and have no idea nagging me.

Can’t decide on one? Email me privately and I’ll assign one for you.

Critiquers, along with the usual grammar, spelling, etc, review, consider these questions:
     * Was this piece helpful to you as a writer?
     * Why or why not?

Word limit: 1000
Please use the subject line
