Exercise #456: Self Knowledge
Posted 2/17/12

What can you not do that everyone else seems to take for granted?

You may, as always, show a character answering this exercise instead.

Critiquers, along with a technical critique, you might note whether you were able to determine the missing ability, if it was not pointed out. Do you see the author’s “limitation” as a strength or a weakness? Why?

Why this is a self-knowledge exercise: Examining what we cannot do may encourage us to also examine what we can do, allowing a scrutiny of both or weaknesses and strengths. I firmly believe we have both in order to complement each other, especially where teamwork is required.
