Exercise #212: Self Knowledge
Posted 5/18/07

Show us a "near miss" in your life.

We all have these, too. Sometimes, the miss was a good thing, and sometimes not. Maybe you almost married that first boyfriend (ewww), or came close to catching a fly ball (with your head), or would have been in that traffic accident if you'd been seven seconds sooner. Maybe you hesitated too long and the man of your dreams married another, the woman who did get hit with the baseball dated the ambulance attendant, or you would have missed being in that accident if you'd been seven seconds sooner. You decide which of your near misses to share.

       SUB: Exercise #212/yourname

This self-knowledge exercise will make you think about some key events in your life, and how your life might be different had the “miss” not occurred.
